IOLITE -  Iolite is available in calibrated sizes and " fancy cut" stones.  
The quality is excellent, the color is dark blue (like high quality sapphire).
(The native name for Iolite is "Water Sapphire").
The price varies between $3.00 a carat to $47.00 a carat for the largest
most perfect fancy cut stones.  The average price for very good stones is 
about $9.00 a carat.    The exact price will be quoted to you before the 
order is sent to the cutters.
